2026 WASSCE Examinations Conclude Amid Joyful CelebrationsJune 17, 2026, HCC Compound, Joehzon, Liberia Finally, the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has officially come to an end, bringing excitement, relief, and celebration among students across our schools. As I glanced through my office window following the final examination, I witnessed scenes of joy and jubilation as students celebrated the successful completion of this important academic milestone. The excitement was truly inspiring, and I captured a few photographs and videos to preserve the memorable occasion. As we now await the release of the examination results within the next two to three months, I encourage all of us to continue remembering these students in our prayers as they look forward to the next chapter of their educational journey. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hope and Care for Children (HCC) and serving as School Superintendent, I am extremely delighted and overjoyed by the discipline, commitment, and exemplary conduct demonstrated by our students throughout the WASSCE process. I also extend my sincere appreciation to the teams of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Liberia, the Ministry of Education (MOE), and the Liberia National Police (LNP) for upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and security throughout the administration of the examinations. My heartfelt gratitude goes to HCO/HCC donors whose generous support made it possible to provide extra classes, trial tests, and mock examinations that adequately prepared our students for this important assessment. Through their support, students from all three schools were also provided with hot meals throughout the examination period, ensuring they remained focused, healthy, and energized. I further commend our school administrators, teachers, support staff, and parents for their unwavering dedication, sacrifices, and encouragement. Their collective efforts played a vital role in the successful completion of the 2026 WASSCE. The successful conclusion of these examinations is a shared achievement. To our students, congratulations on reaching this significant milestone. To our donors, educators, staff, parents, and partners, thank you for your continued commitment to providing quality education and creating opportunities for the future of our children.
