Sponsor a Student

Imagine the barriers that are broken through literacy and a relationship with Christ! There are hundreds of thousands of children in Liberia chained to illiteracy due to financial constraints on families or unpaid teachers, forcing schools to close.
1 in 2 Liberian children will never complete primary school.
Hope Schools brings quality education to the kids in three communities of Liberia through sponsorships from generous donors. Hope and Care currently has three schools located in Joehzon, Gbarnga, and Waubengu (Foya). Since 2010, we have been offering thousands of children hope through Christian education through the generosity of our donors.
We are also blessed to offer free hot lunch programs to our students. It is not possible to for growing children to focus their minds on an empty stomach.
HCO supporters heard and responded. Thank you!

Hope Lutheran School - Joehzon Road, Lower Margibi County Dear Sponsors, I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Timothy Kwenah Jr, and I am writing with a heart full of gratitude. When I was struggling to complete high school due to financial challenges, I never imagined someone would step in and change my story. Your decision to award me a scholarship at "Hope Lutheran School Joehzon Road" did more than paying my fees. It gave me hope, dignity, and the chance to finish what I started. Because of your support I was able to sit my final exams, and I am now called an incoming graduate with my classmates, and will receive my high school diploma. The certificate is not just paper to me- it is proof that someone believed in me when things were hard. You didn't just fund my education, you invested in my future. Weeks from now I will proudly say I am a high school graduate because of you. The lessons I learn in class are important, but the lesson you taught me - that kindness can transform a life - will stay with me forever. I promise to honor your generosity by working hard, maintaining good character, and using my education to help others the way you helped me. |
